The album "¡Oh Cáceres, mi Cáceres!" is a deeply personal project that pays homage to the city of Cáceres and to the roots of its author, the Extremaduran singer-songwriter Almaes.
The album's proposal revolves around three main axes:
Local pride and nostalgia: The main theme is a love song to his homeland. The artist created compositions accompanied by images of Cáceres to convey the pride he feels for his city after having spent a large part of his life working on the stages of Mallorca.
Ballads and poetic lyrics: Through a primarily Pop genre, the repertoire includes melodic and intimate songs such as Con el alma (With the Soul), Días de silencio (Days of Silence), and Corazón sin recuerdos (Heart Without Memories). The lyrics explore universal feelings such as love, the passage of time, and personal experiences.
Local collaborations: The artist's close relationship with the culture of his region is also reflected in other works in his repertoire, which regularly include projects such as setting poems by local writers to music (for example, the verses of the Cáceres poetess Aurora De Los Reyes Pardo de la Luz).
